Rather than take the traditional venture approach, where investment “silos” are created around individual partners, Foundry Group approaches each of our investments as a collaborative team from the very beginning.
Whether it’s the early evaluation of an investment opportunity, advising a portfolio company or fund manager long after we’ve made the investment, we believe this team approach enables Foundry Group to make faster, better decisions while also supporting our entrepreneurs and managers with the full breadth and depth of our collective experience, expertise and network of connections.
Let’s face it – in the venture capital world, partners get all the glory. But without the hard work and behind-the-scenes support of a professional staff, no venture firm can succeed over the long haul. We’re lucky enough to have the best in the business.
When Foundry Group makes an investment, our entrepreneurs and managers get the resources and attention of all of us — not just those of one individual.
